Good news is my audition went well and I'm starting practice with the new band tomorrow night... |

Actually this was my 1st gig ever and not a paying gig, but a backyard party. But there were about 50-60 people there, and we played 2 full sets.
I had a lot of fun made a lot of mistakes and hope to do it again soon. |

Church: every Sunday, maybe missed a couple
Shows: around 125 so far (figuring around 25/month)
Club gigs: I'd guess around 80-100 or so (figuring an average of 2-3 week)
Studio gigs: maybe 10 |

I could probably be working as a bass player much more if I wasn't picky but since I don't earn my living through music I would rather choose what I want to do. There are a couple of exiting possibilities that may be coming up including one rehearsal band playing jazz and another sub situation with a band doing Steely Dan amongst other things. Heck I don't mind if I don't get paid for that stuff. |

I'll probably get into playing for my church sometime, seeing as how they've got someone to cover the sound guy spot i've held for the last year...
