I played baritone in marching band and concert band all through high school. I never liked marching band as well, because I don't especially like football and it gets really really cold in Ohio in the fall (that's where I grew up). And I liked the concert band music better.

Marching Bands RULE!
Football is just the opening act....

Never been in marching band, seen 3 of my children go through them:
Clarinet
Clarinet & MARCHING BASS GUITAR(wireless)
Flute & flag team captain(current year)

Just got in from a playoff game 120 miles away. They won so Marching Band gets another season extension(next Friday....the one after Thanksgiving WT?).

one year on baritone. decided spending 10+ hours a week on a 10 minute show wasn't for me.
