How much would you pay for Jamerson's "Funk Machine"

The nigh-on-impossible hypothetical scenario is that Jamerson's pet bass - the mainstay of his career - the Funk Machine shows up, is verified by Jamerson Jr., and then put up for auction. What would you pay for it?

You would almost think this was an SWR thread by the number of responses. My answer is nothing. I'd cold jack that mutha and take his $#!*.

But since he dead, starting bid at $100.

I would sell a lot of stuff to get it, just to hand it over to the Jamerson family.

I don't think I would want it as a playable bass since the action is through the roof maybe to hang on a wall and the kids could sell it when I'm dead.
