how to plug Ipod into mono PA

Sign in to disble this ad
I had a party at my house for the Fourth and we did some jaming. Actually my band was supposed to play a set but the lead singer didnt show so it was a free-for-all but fun.
Anyway, i wanted to plug my Ipod inot the mono PA for incidental music. I had a mini to full-size jack naturally but was only getting one channel through the board.
Now i had asked an "expert" friend about this and said the stero jack would default to mono. Well it did but only one channel.
Fro the future, what would be the easiest way to do this without taking up two jacks on the PA?
Thanks!

sorry, didn't read your whole post, to get this adapter to work mono, just pull the mini part OUT of the ipod just a little bit, that should default it to mono, out of two speakers.

This adapter SHOULD work if you have RCA inputs.

Nah this is a PA with either guitar jacks or those low level mic inputs.
