How are your basses doing in this weather?

Mine are doing quite well, necks are straight however the only thing pissing me off is the fact every time I pick one up to play, it's incredibly sticky. One has a clear coat and the other laquer. I'm not playing any gigs though or practicing with a band, so It's not so bad.

How 'bout you guys?

My slabs are pertyful. I played my fretless for the first time in about 8 months last night -- still sings, still setup the way it was when I put it down last time .

My DB is also weathering it very nicely. Action went up a bit (body expanding) but only slightly.

...then again, my house is air-conditioned and I do have solid control of the humidity in my room.

Mine are fine. They have been staying inside, in cases during this heatwave. I get 'em out to practice, inside, but otherwise my nicely airconditioned home is keeping them nice and cozy.

Mine are fine too, de-humidifer on as aways.

I have had my 73 P Bass for 20+ years, it has spent most of it's non use time in the case. Neck is straight as an arrow still.

When I take them out for transport I try to keep em out of direct sunlight and they get the whole back seat to lay down on.

Mine do fine both in chilly indoor AC, and brutal heat and humidity of summer. Maybe this is because I prefer five-stringers with chunky neck profiles.

About the same. When they get a little sticky like that, I'll usually give 'em a little wipe down with Dr. Duck's Axe Wax. Nice stuff. Then they're good to go...
