So, a while ago, for reasons pertaining to school, debt etc, I had to sell my only amp and bass. Went without for about a year. Then I got myself a Highway One Jazz, with the intention to get an amp the next month to get back into the swing of things bandwise...
Then I got sick and missed a bunch of work. Then my pet got sick and I had to throw a ton of money at the problem...
At any rate, I've currently got the Highway One jazz, but I am unable to put aside any money for an amp or finance anything gig-worthy due to being at an extreme financial limit... It's pretty bad.
SO, I have been kicking around the idea of getting an SX (which over time I'll be able to modify... I'm reading a lot of happy SX customers) and getting something used and gigworthy with the money I'd obtain if I got rid of the Highway One...
Is this a good or bad idea? Should I be patient? Should I act? I'm stuck...
