Humidty Levels

Quick question, what kind of Humidty range do they recomend storing instuments in.

Not too low - so as to avoid drying and splitting of the wood. Not too high - so as to avoid mildew & mold.

Usually something in the range of about 40% to 50% relative humidity...

Living in downtown Chicago in a high rise on Lake Shore Drive is an absolute humidity NIGHTMARE. Since I play with such low action, my bass necks have to be adjusted constantly. Sorry for the rant.

Thanks, I have a gauge that measures humidty but I never was sure what I should be keeping the studio at.

So somewhere between 40 and 50, thanks again.
