Hypothetical on selling a modified bass.

If you were selling a cheap bass that you had modified with new wiring and pickups, where the pickups easily cost the same as the bass.

Would you sell it all together.
or
Stick the original pickups back in and sell the bass and aftermarket pickups seperately?

I think the latter option would be the wisest, but just seeing what other peoples opinions on the matter were.

(I know there are rules on questions regarding selling things, but I think this is ok, if not, please remove).

Definately separately. Although there might be some interest by some serious bass players for a cheap bass that sounds good, most people looking to buy a squier or something similar just wan't a cheap bass.

Besides good pickups hold their value pretty well.
