gig 1 went better than expected. it was a cover gig. next 2 are original. this was just an audition, but they asked us to play the whole night, paid us $300 and gave us a $100 bar tab which our drummer drank by himself. sold 8 cds which was surprising. not a whole lot of people there, but enough to keep the bar happy. my head is spinning right now from lack of sleep - can't seem to sleep here for some reason. went to bed 6, up at 9:30. got the day off so i'm heading out to the beach now, gonna slop on some sunscreen and try to catch some zzzzs there.

tonights ladies night at the bar we're playing saturday so we're heading out there to promote.
