I am offended

I was called a "Guitarist who wishes he was a bassist" by a guitard today, just because i like effect pedals.


What offends me most is the stereo type of bassists not using effects. Some people don't use effects because they just don't; it's not them playing style etc.,a nd the fact that guitards seem to so frequently rap on that.

I have more pedals than my guitarist does.

I own more pedals than any of the guitarists I've ever worked with. One of them used to say s*** like that before he started recording solo stuff with fruity loops, but after he figured out that a lot of the bass sounds he liked me using were effects, he started using FL's effects all the time.
