Unhappy I don't have a bass!

I have a custom being made, which I expected to be done by now, so I sold my Warwick on ebay. Sent the bass off today, but the custom has not come and I have no idea when to expect it. So, this leaves me with no bass at all!

I haven't been without a bass since I started playing about 8 years ago. Luckily I do a lot of composing and recording on my computer, so I still am able to work on music, but it's a huge bummer looking at my rig and having nothing to plug into it. When I want a respite from the twiddly and non-spontaneous world of computer composition, I have nothing to fill that void. And I have no idea when I will have my new bass.

Anybody else ever find themselves without an instrument?

I was in that situation for a whlie (P-bass was taken apart due to waiting on modding it, my only bass).

I ended up borrowing a friend's starter Ibanez. Worked for me.
