I am a late starter on bass, 31 when I bought my first, and soon after I found an ad for TalkBass in one of the mags. I don't get to go out much to see other bass players, with kids and all, so I feel that TalkBass has been my instructor. Thank you, Paul and TalkBass for everything...it's been a long time coming.
Now to pick an avatar. |

All I can say is get ready for all of the gear you are going to be buying and selling over the next couple years.

I just started at the young age of 40. I am 41 now, and I still suck. Well, maybe someday I can get my groove thing on.

Of all the interests I have and their corresponding internet communities, Talk Bass is easily the most informative and friendly place I frequently visit. Once I scrounge up enough cash I'll become a Supporting Member.
But I just bought a new bass ( ) so it'll have to wait ( ). |
