but all you Southern California Talkbassers, I am now employed at the Lake Forest, CA location of Guitar Center!!!

There are several of us on the guitar staff, but I am the only Bass player, so the bass room is mine!

You might want to check with the mods, but it is probably SPAM and almost definately in breach of the new Commercial User's Policy (see announcement at top of forum) which came into effect today - not that I have seen anyone else comply with it yet, but even so!

BTW, I have established some rules for my bass room, which I feel should be standard for the bass dept at any retailer, as follows:

I have some rules for my bass room, related to Dee's question:

1) No slapping "Smoke on the Water"
2) No RHCP "Higher Ground"....... Ever!!!!
3) Jaco and Rocco played 16th notes.... You do not!!!
4)As extreme volume levels can cause internal bleeding, please be respectful!
5) No attempts to create "Brown notes"...... nuff said!

Whaddya think?

Whadda I think? I think you're going to have a hard time selling basses on commission, Bass Nazi.

As long as you aren't trying to sell anything or promote your company, I don't think you are spamming. Congrats on the new gig! Enjoy having the bass room to yourself

I give you three months. And statistically, that's a pretty good bet.
