Ow.

I was carting it into my room from the computer room, and as I laid it down, my foot got underneath and the corner really dug in. I got my foot out of the way and got the sucker down, but I'm still in a moderate amount of pain. The bruise is kinda cool looking though.

Anyone else do something like this?

I would, but I don't know how to post a picture from my computer, since the only option seems to be to post a picture from a link.

Besides, it's going to grow. In a few hours it'll be much bigger!

When I was ten I dropped a bowl full of ice cream on my big toe. It hurt really bad.

Yep, not on my foot though.

I used to play through a Bag End AF1A-C. It's a big heavy cab around 120 lbs.

Me and a buddy was carrying it upstairs, it slip a bit and jammed my pinkie between the cab and the stairs. Kind of felt like smashing your finger with a hammer only the pain was a little more intense. It gave me that queasy felling in my stomach. I didn't lose my lunch but did eventually lose the nail. That sucker was tender for quite a while.

Well jeez, what started out as a nice purply bruise has turned into a basic red mark. What a bummer.

The amp is fine, those EA's are tough.

And I was not wearing shoes or socks, but it wasn't really serious. It feels fine now. thanks MM.

I was heading out the door to play in a pit band for a musical last year with my BA115. I ran into a corner, fingers first, which hurt quite a bit. Accidently dropped the amp, and broke my little toe. A very painful experience!

ya, once i was carrying my 210 out the door, and my guitarist (in front of me) turn around suddenly, and got me squarely in the balls with his guitar case (accident...i think) so i dropped the cab on my foot, and now my big toe makes funny sounds when i pull on it...ouch

I'd suggest you count your blessings. You could have been carrying an SVT or pushing an 810.

Nevermind the foot, That would have take your whole leg out.

Yea, I did soemthing like this about a month ago...

I had my rack sitting on one of my Agg GS112's, which was sitting on top of a PA speaker...

I hoisted my rack up, but it drug the GS112 off onto my big toe, crushing my toe pretty good. At this point, I think it received a mild stress fracture, but nothing out of place.

The toenail went completely purple, w/ a blood blister underneath. It became so swollen, that all of the skin of the friggen toe is now peeling off like it was sunburned or something.

When i was 14 I dropped a giant kitchen knife, it just nicked my big toe (I was barefoot)..there was still a realy deep cut but had it been 1 more inch over I would probably be missing a toe today...the end

If I dropped my Peavey head on my foot, it would be broken for sure. I am wearing steel toed boots when moving gear from now on.

Haha, last night over dinner my aunt and my uncle were up, and we were all talking about their childhood with the other siblings (7 kids). Two of my uncles chopped off their toes while cutting wood. The 2 oldest, I believe.

Guess I really was lucky.
