I just found out my band is playing Scout Bar...

...And I'm pretty happy about that. For all the non Houstonians, Scout Bar is basically one of those venues local acts wish they could play while they're jamming at local coffee shops and small holes in the wall. It's one of the largest venues for local acts in Houston, and the place 94.5 hosts the Texas Buzz every Sunday.

We still don't have the following and the prestige to actually play a place like this, but by dumb luck and random association with a band we've played with in the past, we landed a spot this Saturday.

I feel pretty good about this week.

I really don't know how we're going to pull this off, we don't have the kind of following that would do a place like Scout justice... I dunno, we'll see what we'll see.
