My gem is a 1960 Alamo tube amp. Soooo bluesy.

Vintage little tube amps like that are awesome. I need to go find a few of those to fiddle with.

This is from a few years ago, but things haven't changed much besides losing a guitar or two and gaining a few basses.

The amps are a 1974 Twin Reverb (Blackfaced) and a 1965 Fender VibroChamp (all original except for the tubes which are black plates and Mullards).

It just sounds like ass. It sounds choked and muffled, no matter how or where i try to strum. Meh.

I'll let you know if I sell it. How I'd LOVE a 714 or something.

I had this Mesa Trem-o-verb custom made a while ago, but Chris Benavente has it now. He does far more guitar playing than I do, so I thought it was time to send it to a good home where it would actually get some use. I still have a few guitars, though. Probably should move a couple of them as well...

This is the rig that stopped my guitar GAS.

Guitar: Yamaha SG2000 modded with a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates (the red ones sound best) in the bridge position.

Amp: Rivera Thirty-Twelve

Tone = Mmm Mmm GOOD!

Yeah Baby!

Special Edition MIM Standard Fender Strat FMT (Honeyish Burst, Maple fretboard)
Peavey Classic Chorus 212 (Line out into Peavey TKO 65 Bass/Keyboard combo for some more uumph.)
Big Muff Russian PI Distortion
Boss Phase Shifter and Chorus
Memory Man Deluxe Delay
Dunlop Deluxe Cry Baby

I don't have much attachment space left. There's a pic of it in the "Show us your basses/amp" threads.

There's something left to be desired about bass that I find is satisfied by stomping on a pedal and givin' the old git-box a wail. I've realized however that I like bass alot better and I think I'm alot better at it too. It fits my personality, it's much more hip, and I'd take the groove over shredding anyday.

Go register with imageshack.com or photobucket.com

Lots easier than warrying about attatchments.

My Taylor GS / RS and Martin D-16R (DM pictured)..

I've got no interest these days in electric guitar, but if I did, I'd get a nice American Tele, and a vintage tube fender or Vox amp.

My GS is the most Amazing guitar for under $2500 I've ever played.

I just sold the Les Paul by the Telecaster...

One of those "little vintage tube amps..."

I used to have an American Stratocaster, but I sold it for 680 dollars (My uncle bought it for 400 in April, gave it to me for free, when he needed money I sold it for him in exchange for his amp, which when I sell all the money will go to me).

The Amp is a Roland Cube 30.

I also have a Fender acoustic I'm selling for 150, just need more than an acoustic can give me (Recording stuff mostly)

I have a classical guitar and a Hohner Les Paul copy. Sounds nice, but I don't really like the shortish neck, I'd rather have a "long scale" guitar such as a Strat or Tele.

A guitar player at heart....

'76 Strat currently with mix of Tex-mex/Carvin twinblade pickups (original pickguard assembly boxed up)

'91 Les Paul Studio Lite

'96 Les Paul Classic

'67 Gibson Trini Lopez (little known semi-hollowbody similar to ES series)

'76 Twin Reverb

Standard issue Marshall slant front 4x12 and powered at the moment by a Mosvalve power amp, host of pedals/ZOOM GFX-8 multi-effects board currently serving bass effects duties.
