Yup, her name is Shana Morrison, and She, like her Pop, Van Morrison, is an accomplished musician. She writes in a bluesy, Sophie B. Hawkins meets Amiee Mann sorta style, and she is going to be touring the East Coast area in August. Some impromptu dates that are being set up...my group, the Curtain Society (plus our good friend Scott Riciutti from area power pop monsters "Huck") will be her backing band for these dates!
Very cool opportunity, as I love trying new genres of music, and want to play in front of alot of new faces I might not have reached otherwise. Pretty cool, so keep a lookout in the New England area for the name Shana Morrison.
