I Love My Guitarist

Sign in to disble this ad
This is just one of the reasons:

Note: The HIWATT he just got yesterday, It sounds 100x better than the fender stage 100 solid-state head he'd been using up until now. Had I not joined the band he would've gotten a marshall, as he didn't know about HIWATT. For clean guitar the hiwatt owns marshall IMO. Pedalboard is home made, based on a the trailer trash pedalboard design.

lol, no. As I said, that's just one of the reasons I love my guitarist. Him being extremely creative and talented as well as a really awesome dude in general is much more important than his gear. His gear just happens to be awesome too.

This is said half jokingly, but I wouldn't love a guitarist who has a 100 watt tube head going into a 4x10 cab.

Excessive volume aside, that is some nice gear. He made the pedal board, you say? Very nice!

4x12 cab, orange doesnt make 4x10s

Sick Sick rig. I love orange. I dont play enough clean to really use a hiwatt but they are super sick. I almost bought a vintage one a few months ago. The les paul is hot too.

If I had to pick a guitar rig that I would least like to deal with, it would look a heck of a lot like that right there.

Show me a Tele or Strat connected to a 1x12 amp by nothing but a cord.

IMHO of course

you're an idiot

Why post a useless post insulting gear? Does it have a point, no it is just insulting.

I'm not giving my other reasons because they are obvious, but trust me you are indeed a moron.

G'day

It's not as loud as you would imagine. I've heard a lot louder amps than his...I think a marshall head would probably be louder through that cab. The cab is capable of some massive volume.

I imagine that Hiwatt could get MUCH LOUDER! You're perhaps fortunate that your guitarist chooses to exercise restraint and go for tone.

Cool.

I'd love a Les Paul. But I just gotta JS1200, so I'm all set, and the weight is much easier over a 4-hour gig nite.
