I got myself fitted for custom earplugs while I was there. My right ear was in good shape, but the doctor scraped out a ball of wax about the size of a grape out of my left ear. We were both shocked that I could even hear out of it. I definitely noticed a difference afterwards.

I just threw up a little in my mouth... : /

Glad you're hearing better now, though!

Having suffered from chronic ear infections through my childhood and having weird shaped crap pulled out of my ears, I want to see this ball of wax.

Oof. I was so mortified that it didn't occur to me to snap a photo. It's so weird that one side was completely clean and the other was so horrible.
