I might be going to see Stone Temple Pilots.

In Pittsburgh on the 27th. Anyone else going? I'm a big Bob DeLeo fan plus I have all their albums and love their music, but the inevitable question: how are they live? If I pay $83 for a pit ticket, I damn well better leave impressed.

I saw them a couple of years ago. Let me put it this way: they sucked. They were all drunk, groggy, and lethargic on stage. Wolfmother opened for them just blew me away. But once STP came on, I have to say, it was the worst performance from a successful rock group I have ever seen.
Maybe I got unlucky. Or I just wasn't drunk/high enough to enjoy it.

I do know Weiland is normally pretty ****ed up but Bob DeLeo is clean, from what I know.
