Right because "Supporting Member" implies that you provide some sort of "support" for the site.

If you can't afford the $20 to become a supporting member you REALLY shouldn't be spending money anywhere on more gear. Seriously.

I'm in my 3rd year of being a supporting member and in those 3 years I've bought, traded, and sold 6 basses. $20 a year is a good investment if you have GAS like me.

After much examination, I've discovered the above comment is true.

Every time i get my paycheck it goes to paying off crap. like expensive basses on layaway. The rest goes to concerts and food. So by the end of two weeks i always forget to support that jam. ehhhh

Cool. You're a boy. When you decide to become a man, you'll learn to pay for things you use. That's one of many differences between being a boy and being a man.

We'll be waiting here for you. Being a man is definitely more work but its also way more fun!

The $20 is more than worth it to post for sale ads in the Classifieds section.

Show some love. Its $20 for a year, thats $0.05/day

I don't mind contributing that.

Don't drink soda's for a month. Or a week in many kid's cases.

That should more than pay for it.

I pay way more than $20 a year for gear, so being able to buy and sell it was well worth it to me. It's cheaper than ebay.

Or all junk food for two days, if you're any bit like I was at that age.
