I need help. I'll describe a song, someone tell me what it is

There is a song I keep hearing in certain bars and clubs but for the life of me I have no idea who the hell it is and I love the song.
Right. Here goes.
It's kinda ska/pop. It's a very upbeat song. It has verses sang at a medium-fast pace and at the interludes a short bass scale followed by "hey hey hey hey".
Please help with this because it's going to irritate me until I find out what it is.

thanks.

Hi.

Little Richard is the original writer and The Beatles, amongst others, covered a tune of that name. It obviously doesn't mean that it's the tune You're after though. It does fit the description loosely.

Sam
