Well..ive been playing my electric bass for a year and 3 month . but i didnt learn notes only with tabs. and now i signed up in my high school to play a double bass...and i got notes down but....im still having trouble. my teacher isnt trained in orchestra or basicly any stringed instruments except for guitar and electric bass. so i need some help. when i play by myself im fine but when i play with the others i just screw up. i think my problem is i have no confidence in my music. but i was just hoping if mabey i can get some advice 4rm my other bass people. so if i can get any tips or advice on anything on bass. to help me calm down to keep a beat. i would really appretiate it because my teacher is just pissing me off and makes me feel horrible.

Crazy idea: Try posting about DBs in DB. It might just work.

Edit: Oh- and welcome to TB.
