I need help With a tone, I am almost thier??

Okay, I need help getting Justin Chancelors sound..I know thier are alot of threads like this but bear with me..

I play on an Ibanez K5 and Sdgr 405. I also have a cort action 5.

My amp is a Peavey 15 cab, Witha max 160 head. (Next week I am getting a 4x10 to help even out the highs)

My goal here is for you guys to help get my knobs closer to where they need to be for the sound.

On my amp I have the drive and contour all the way up. Highs at 1/2, Mid at 3/4 and mid frequency at 1/2 and low at 1/3.

On my bass(405) I have the it set to slap, Highs up lows down and the balancer at about 60/40.

Now can you guys guide me closer to where I need to be. And should I use the K5 for this since it can reach better mids?


Edit: I am also using behringer graphic equalizer...
