I need ideas

Well, by Birthday is coming up and I am going to be good and save the majority of the cash.

But anyway since it is a birthday and a birthday is a time for being spoilt I am going to alot US$200 towards some piece of bass gear, the question is what exactly should I spend it on?

I need ideas and lots of them provided it is not more than US$200.

Anything and everything you can think of would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

How about a Boss TU-2 tuner pedal, or whatever nice tuner pedal or rack mount tuner floats your boat. I bought a TU-2 somewhat recently and it has been one of the best purchases I've made in the $100+ range. Some other purchases that I've made in the $100 to $200 range lately that have made me happy are a drum machine, I went with the Alesis SR-16 - Boss makes a great drum machine but it's a little bit spendier, and some very basic recording gear - I went with a 2 input cassette based Tascam 4 track which can do a lot of fun stuff for not a lot of money.

I'm not sure what gear you already have, so maybe those aren't things that you need, but those are three things that have tickled me for only between $100 and $200 each.

Oh, one more, a NICE strap and strap locks are both nice to have and you can probably get both and get the best available within your price range.

Good luck picking out your next new toy, and happy birthday!

If you could cough up another 75 to 100 I would say pickup the boss me-50b, if you need a good loud amp check out the peavey max 112 for 200 bones.
