and besides that some good Death Metal:
The Black Dahlia Murder - Nocturnal (favorite band right now)
Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake especially is a good album
Cannibal Corpse - any of their stuff.
Marilyn Manson - Portrait of an American Family, Antichrist Superstar (his only good albums IMO. Portrait is a masterpeice. Oh and this is definitely not death metal) |

| | | | Ween - The Mollusk
Greatest album of all time (IMO) |

Uh... What?
Black Dahlia... Emo Deathcore bollocks
Lamb of God... Thrash Metal/Groove Metal
You're lucky you saved yourself with Marilyn Manson by mentioning you knew he wasn't Death Metal... But still... 2 is bad enough.

- Therion, check "The Secret of teh Runes" CD out. Amazing.
Changing styles:
- The Baseballs. They only have one album, "Strike", but is great. They'r ea cover band, but 'backwards'. They take current chart hits and turn them into a 50's rock songs.

I would have accepted Death Metal to be any subgenre of Death Metal, but not as any subgenre of any music you so please. How about you listen to some Children of Bodom? I've heard they're a brilliant Classical orchestra!
