Hello all,
This is my first time posting on Talk Bass, and I am doing it because I need some feedback. I have made this video with my teacher for the porous of teaching a song named Ebenella. I was wondering could you all tell me how easy or hard it is to learn and understand.

http://www.grantstinnett.com/videos/...lesson%201.htm

Constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Killer playing, gorgeous bass. I think that some voiceovers explaining the major concepts would be helpful in the first example. The example playing is excellent and the camera angles are way better than most I've seen- truly useful. Also, on the left hand section, maybe mention the actual chord names you are playing. Other than that, it's a killer lesson.

I either missed it or can't see in the video, but what's the pickup combo on that Fodera of yours- the bass sounds great and looks amazing.

Nice work.

Thanks for the in-put. About the bass, it is just the standard series monarch. And my bio/profile is on my web site, grantstinnett.com.

I agree with Indie as well. If you could somehow describe your left hand fretting better, that would be cool. Otherwise it looks and sounds pretty awesome.

Not too bad, a little more talking would help.

I'd like knowing a bit more why I'd be doing something rather than monkey-see monkey-do.
