This is a young (15) vocalist that I'm working with. I think she has an amazing voice. I'd love your opinions on her.

She seems to have a nice voice, but I'd like to hear her sing something with less effects (like that Cher "digitalized" thing) on her vocals. Ya know what I mean? Something more raw where you can truly hear what her voice sounds like. With technology today, you can do amazing things

That said, it seems you have found a young gem that like a good (non-screwtop) wine, can only get better with age and experience. Best of luck

Thanks, but the lead vocals are all her. There are effects on the background vox.

I enjoyed the track.

That autotuner could in my opinion be skipped (it's the one making that "digitalized" sound), but it was quite sparsely used so it was within reasonable limits for my taste. I think it gave the track a bit more "modern" sound. Why does the word "sci-fi" pop up in my mind as well?

I agree that it would have been easier to judge her real talent and voice without that effect, but she seems to have a nice voice. I liked those harmony parts as well.

There's some hit factor in this song. The current mix didn't do it for me though, it sounded a bit "flat" in some way. Not alive enough. Difficult to describe...

If there's something I missed in her voice it was power. She seems to sing quite softly all the time. More powerful passages would have been good for the dynamics, but I think that's something she'll develop better over time.

I'd continue working with her.

EDIT: Saw your post. I was almost sure there was an autotuner in use here.. If not, then... wow...

I promise you, there's no autotuner involved. She's really that good.
