I play metal with a telecaster

I got bored and threw up some riffage. I am using a custom built Tele through a Line 6 Guitarport.

The last riff is actually a song I am working on. The first riff is from Warm Winter on the same page.

The rest is just noodling. I am not a guitar player, I can't play lead at all, but I like to noodle.

www.tellhazelrun.com click on Metal Guitar Noodling.

ENJOY

I play metal with my telecaster bass sometimes, does that count?

Maybe we should collaborate.

Jimmy Page helped INVENT metal with a Telecaster so that's not too much of a stretch...

Many MODERN players think a tele is for Country.

I love it.

Many modern players can't tune their guitars correctly, so let's not take advice on how things sound from them

Envy, a Tokyo based Hardcore band sound awesome and both guitarists use tele's exclusively (or at least tele style guitars)

I'm now using a semi-hollow body Epiphone for everything, i dont know what that says about me. It actually can get a really sweat metal/hardcore sound, sounds great clean, even acoustic its pretty awesome.

I saw Envy last Saturday and they blew me away. One of the best shows I've ever been to.

Yeah I saw them at the underworld in Camden on the 5th, best show ever.

I sat with my girlfriend on the stage about a foot away from one of the guitarists awesome evening.

did Bossk support when you saw them? Really great band, and they're from down my way (Ashford)

No, but Bossk play Leeds really often

My support was a Leeds band called These Monsters who were OK, and the Devil Sold His Soul who were utter rubbish.
