Here's the question. I probably already know the answer to it, but want to know from you guys. We have several cats in our house, and as you can imagine, this time of year they're going nuts with fleas. So tomorrow we're going to try to put an end to our cats constantly spazzing out because of fleas. We're going to bomb the joint. I've never done this, but from what I'm being told, it's simply a mist that lingers around for an hour or two. My instincts tell me to get my string family the heck outta there. Or are they okay to leave behind, and put them in their cases? I'd appreciate a point in the right direction here. Thanks guys!

Thanks guys! | instead of bombing the house, i would get the stuff that goes on the cats' shoulderblades, it works really well, and once you kill the fleas on the cats all the problems will disappear.

What's funny is that one cat is a long-haired cat, and one cat is a black short-haired cat. Both of them have a righteous flea problem, but the black cat seriously spazzes out quite frequently and now it's to the point where she won't even sit on the floor. She's constantly jumping up onto stuff to get away from the carpet (for example, my small guitar amp that sits on top of my bass amp, which proceeded to fall over and hit my SX P-bass on the stand. How it didn't ding it, I don't know!). We've pretty much come to the last resort level. It's heavy.

But really, I hope this works because I'd hate to have a million little things biting every inch of my body!

The pesticides involved in this process carry varying levels of risk, and have varying types of persistence in the home. Do it right the first time. This sounds to me like it's past the do-it-yourself level.
