No. I've worried several keyboardists, but not because I've passed out. Usually because I tell them, "Look, if you want to blast your left-hand volume, I'll just sit out and let you play keyboard bass." Then they'll normally turn down to a tolerable level.

But seriously though, you might want to get to a doctor for some tests. Are you diabetic, or have some other medical problem that might have caused you to black out? Had you not eaten for an extended period of time? Passing out shouldn't be taken too lightly. Good luck.

It was probably just not eating and then trying to play a load of really complicated work.

But that doesn't explain the other times I've gone dizzy.........

Please. Stop. I can't take it anymore.

I am starting to think Major Metal created you and your MySpace profile is all fake and this is another experiment of his in tolerance.

Happens to me every other gig or so. Only the keyboardist doesn't worry about me.

Ever wonder why your life has so much drama in it? I do.

But seriously, be careful. Eat, it's good for you.

Read the other threads. The doctor has told her there is nothing wrong.

I used to actually feel bad when I read these threads, but all of the strings broke on that bass and the battery died.

A friend of mine passed out, not doing anything!, turns out his red blood cell count was too low and couldn't carry enough oxygen to his brain. he started taking multivitamin, vitamin C, B vitamins and Iron supliment and now he's got more energy and red blood cells are good!

FYI

Ps... he doesn't eat very well eggs meat cheese, cherry coke and cigarettes.....

IMO, time to get another doctor. If you're feeling dizzy regularly and then you pass out w/o warning, somethings definitely wrong. Hey, what if she was driving? Actually, she should stop driving until some diagnosis is found. Possibly get a referral to s specialist.

Could be low glucose which could mean pre-diabetes. IME, I suggest having the Doc at least check your A1C and possibly get a 2 or 5 hour glucose test, Thyroid function and your vitamin B levels. YMMV,

Cigarettes are better smoked than eaten. Not too tasty.

You need to keep up with this with your doctor.

Could be low blood sugar, could be low blood pressure, could be a lot of things. But if it happens more than once, something is not right.

If I get up from sitting or laying down for a while, the blood usually leaves my head in such a furious fashion that I almost black out every time. Low Blood Pressure seems to be the cause of it.
