And now for the part of the pic that shows the bass. Otherwise it might as well been a recorder or a violin, in which case it was the overkill that turned you towards the lower register.

it was probably late 60s music or something-which I love too. But I know one thing, I always loved lower sounds and howl like a dog if it's high pitched. I am sensitive to higher sounds, hurts my ears.
