I've been a subscriber to TB for some time. It's a great site. I learn something new with every visit. Best of all, my playing and sound have improved too.

Here's the skinny: Thanks to TB I've done the following in the last year:

1. read multiple p/u reviews/posts and upgraded my Fender stock p/us ('07 American Jazz) to Dimarzio J's

2. Fell in love w/Chrome flats and DR low riders

3. Discovered loads of books, CDs and artists I might not have stumbled upon myself.

4. Kept weird band issues in perspective, laughed and just enjoyed playing more

5. Just bought a Mark Bass Little Mark II. After a year of reading all about it I picked one up. WOW!! I'm finding sounds/tones...soul that I didn't even know my bass had! My cab is an Ampeg SVT-410 HE and I simply can't stop playing.

I've always loved playing bass but I feel like a new door has been opened. It's amazing what a few upgrades (and a load of info from TBers!) can do for a bass player.

Thanks TB and countless subscribers!

Sweet.
I'm ready to hop aboard the Model J train.
I'm using a Markbass combo and it rocks.
