Dude, that is a strat body, with a tele bass pickguard, humbucker, and angled neck pickup! Completely different

The Broadcaster was the same as the Tele, just different name. It was introduced in 1950 and called the broadcaster until gretsch threatend to sue cause they had a drum kit and other products called the "broadkaster". so they changed the name of the guitar to Telecaster in 52.

That Squier is called The 51 or somethin like that...

It's a Squier 51. A Squier guitar tribute to the '51 P-Bass .

Anyway, I've played one, and It's a very good guitar for the money. IIRC, they're sale priced below $200.
