And whether you like or not, he DOES have a point, people in power make easy assumptions on how to resolve problems without knowing really what causes the problem in the first place. Too many politicians are going "It doesn't matter HOW it happens as long as it happens" without really getting in depth about the root of the thing here.
Simmons is right: Obama should try to live at the golan heights for a couple of years, get to experience what life is like out there before coming up with assumptions on how to solve the ongoing fued there.

I have to say I agree with him! I voted for Obama, but I have also always been very pro-Israel. I don't think the US and Israel have the strong relationship they once had. The President really isn't working to keep strong ties with Israel.

| I think EVERY American should go and live there before they "come up with assumptions" on how to solve it. Obama isn't the first president to do this - they've been trying all the way back probably 10 presidents.
