Impressed.

This is a fairly polished sounding recording. The vocals are well placed (if a bit "close" sounding) and everything does a good job of staying in it's sonic space. (read: thanks to the guitarists for not scooping the mids) I'm listening to this under the assumption that you are (sorry for pigeon-holing you guys) a post-hardcore band. The arrangement of the guitarists in the speakers sounds good, though a little far panned, though that is a matter of personal taste. The guitars do sound like they're relying a bit too much on "overdrive" instead of letting the tubes do the work (I'm not sure what they are running through.) The breakdown in "glasgow smile" was good (I'm a sucker for big stops) though if it were me, I would have let it run a little more, and built from that a bit more. Congratulations on being a bassist in a metal band that is actually audible on a recording! Your playing sounds very tight and concise. You sit directly in the pocket and that really makes the recordings sound HEAVY. One caveat, while I too like the bass hits (big booms) don't use them too much, or you start getting into the cheesy Job For A Cowboy EP territory.

Verdict: a good introduction to your band, production values are decent and the ideas are solid. I like!

(everything I said is completely due to personal preference and should not be taken too seriously.)

My friend thank you so much for your input. Seriously tough love or not it all makes me better! As for being audiable....(You bet your a$$!) haha
Honestly it took me a long time to get into this style of music until I did this year and guess what! It challenged me . I really started digging it : )

Your production input has been mentally noted for the future!
