Ibanez IDBB5 dimensions

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm GASsing heavily for the Ibanez IDBB5 double bass guitar gig bag... But I don't know if my basses will all fit in it. My Cobelens & de Bruyne bass is quite big (it doesn't fit in my case but does fit in my GEWA gig bag), and it would be a shame if I bought an expensive bag like this and my bass doesn't fit...

Does anyone have the dimensions for this bag?

I know this is at this point a necro-thread, but wanted to report I just got one of these cases an hour ago in the big brown truck, and it is a great case / bag hybrid. It has a molded bottom with casters and a balance extender bar, and plenty good padding, a neck latch strap in each compartment, and all the accessory bags are roomy. I tried out the backpack function too, it zips away neatly, yet is quickly accessible. Of course, setting up the straps takes longer and they don't stow neatly away at their longest position, it's a really nice feature, like the MONO case m-80 double.

In fact, I am thoroughly convinced that case was their template for this one. Sure it's not as ruggedly built (read: rivetted handles and waterproof shell) , but it is definitely a robust offering for 1/3 the price.

VERY happy with it. And, to answer the question, the bays would fit most any "normal" P / J / Stingray offering, no problem.
