This is close. I was playing with a different bass than I usually use it hangs at a very different angle. I was doing some "crazy rock pickin' (tm)". The new and fun angle (combined with my sloppy pic technique) causes the back of that finger to lightly rub against one of the strings about 10,000 times through the night.
