If the bassist of your favourite band had to go to the bathroom in the middle concert

(You are in their concert) If the bassist of your favourite band had to go to the bathroom in the middle of concert, and they choose YOU to play a song while he goes to do his business:

Which band would it be? what song do you want to play with them? and which of the basses he uses?

Me: Band: Red Hot Chilli Peppers, song: Arround The World.. Bass: Modulus

And Yours? (Sorry i'm bored hehe)

The Mars Volta - Day of the Baphomets

The audience probably wouldn't be too thrilled, however.

Yeah, I play a little bass too. I could tell what you were doing there. You were playing some major and minor scales. I was watching your hands.

That actually happened(without the band asking anyone to play along) when i went to see glassjaw a year or so back. Justin Beck just played some stuff that he said would be on the new album(if it ever comes out)

Steve Harris can enjoy a nice long dump.

I'd gladly (and capably) hold down the fort for the entire 13:34 of 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner'.

lol they would just go during a wardrobe change. In Muse's case, Chris would have lots of time in there while Matt takes forever preening his hair lol.

But to answer the question, definitely Time is Running Out. Hysteria would be nice, but I'd never be able to play it in time, and its really weak-sounding live anyways.

Hopefully there is a 4 stringer back there somewhere because he plays a 6 string Modulus and I have never played a 6er.

BTW, I have had this dream.

This reminds me of the time my old band started playing without realizing one of the members was in the bathroom . We played the opening chord of "honkey tonk women" for about 3 LONG minutes. Rob ran up to the stage and got quite a cheer from the crowd......
