If there is an attraction to Diamanda's music, I don't know what it is.

Sporting Life. I`ve been listening to that album for quite a few years now and I`m still impressed. Great stuff.

BTW - Tomahawk ripped off a riff from that CD on their first album - it`s in this video too, starting around 5 minute mark

JPJ sounds awesome on this!

I could care less for that lady and her screaming over top of it though.

Take the, uh, "vocals" out of it and you have a decent rhythm that a good lead guitarist (or keyboard) could build over. I guarantee it would sound better as an instrumental than her 'gargling' and tongue-waggling!

I agree.

Also, I think it's funny that you can't comment on the video; probably because everybody would talk about how much they hate the "singing".

Just to be fair to the singer for those of us who have not heard of her like myself. Her wiki page. By the way the album with JPJ was done way back in 1994. Wonder why I never heard of it untill yesterday?

I've seen this before. Considered from a voice-as-instrument perspective, it's not that bad imo. Certainly original.

If you're JPJ in the 90's, you're probably tired of other musicians copping your stuff all the time and after a stint with Lenny Kravitz you're eager to do something different.
