If you could wake up tomorrow and find the skills of any musician added to your own,

Sign in to disble this ad
.... who's skills would you want?

It doesn't have to be a bassist (hence my posting this in the Misc. forum).

For me, I think I'd have to say Cliff Gallup.

My first thought was bass-related and was an obvious one - Geddy Lee. However, even though I'm not much of a singer .....

I'd love to be able to sing like Bill withers. I love the sound of his voice. I'm a terrible singer and it's one of those things that I always had a lot of difficulty with. So I'm always impressed by great voices and is why I wish I had their talents.

I have to say Marcus Miller. I assume that means not only his great slap ability but also his composing skills, which I admire greatly, so I think it'd be great to compose music like he does.
