YouTube - Five Finger Death Punch Far From Home

This is what music is about. So much soul, so much emotion, and probably my favourite solo of all time.

I just wanted to share this fantastic piece of art with someone (you guys).

peace.

After hearing Five Finger Deathpunch's cover of "Bad Company" , I don't think I have the stomach to click that link. Sorry.

Pffffffffft... have you heard the original?

That's one of their weaker songs anyway.

The video the dude put with the song is what got me. Quite patriotic.

Cool song even though I don't listen much of their/that kind of music. Nothing can beat that euphoric listening experience. YouTube - SUGIZO - RISE TO COSMIC DANCE - ENOLA GAY

The band themselves seem like a bunch of tools. I'm into metal, but they don't interest me. They've been openers at three or four festivals I've been to and bored me every time.

Yes the images in that video are a bit of a tear jerk and so are the lyrics but I feel IMHO. that the music does very little to nothing in conveying any form of emotion.
Click on this link close your eyes and listen, this is how it’s done.

The singer does not really sound like he's feeling it or has ever truly felt that way.... at least I don't hear it.

Apparently there's something wrong with me...

Of course the subject matter doesn't leave me unaffected, but the song was too distracting in the wrong ways. Personally I can't stand the macho post-grunge type vocals, especially in a power ballad, that whole style comes off to me almost as a parody of itself.

Can't stand 5-finger death punch. Aside from the name of the band being absolutely stupid, their music is generic and tepid at best...a snooze-fest from beginning to end.

And as a veteran, I find songs like this to be nothing more than an attempt to capitalize on the respect almost all Americans have for the sacred honor that our fallen warriors have earned.

Terribly unoriginal band, music style, and video content. This kind of mega-patriotic crap makes me nauseous. And that guys voice is grating. That 'solo' is garbage.

The video was nice, but I couldn't get past the song. It felt contrived.

Haha, +1 for Toots, what a tune. Can't say I'm crazy about this particular song, I have listened to way too much punk in my time to go for this patriotic stuff
