If you were to cover ZZ top...

Which song would you choose....to get the crowd into it.

Reason for asking...its a debate among band mates.

I voted for pearl necklace....

Tush?

La Grange?

Tough call

Yeah there's a lot of good ones, but for a crowd pleaser, gotta choose La Grange IMO.

Tush was always a big crowd pleaser for several bands I've been in. But you have to be careful not to rush the tempo - then it sounds like crap. Of the songs you've listed, I think Tush wins hands down.

My band covers La Grange, Tush and Cheap Sunglasses

These get the crowd going every time but I'd give a slight edge to Cheap Sunglasses.

We have done quite a few, but sharp dressed man gets a better response in some places and La Grange in others. Legs is a good one too as its quite dancy. We do things like Just got paid and waiting for the buss, but that is more self indulgence than any thing else. Don't forget if you do ZZ-top you MUST do the dance moves.

Forgot about Cheap Sunglasses,good one.

If you're sure your crowd knows their ZZ, Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers might be a good choice.

Tush is #1, when done right. I`ve heard some horrible covers of it, but when done at the right tempo by a tight band, it`s awesome !

Gimme All Your Lovin' or La Grange.

I'd give a special nod to Brown Sugar but probably wouldn't get them jumpin' as much as those above.

Another vote for Nasty Dogs. Who cares if anybody else digs it? The band will have a blast. Definitely one of my all time favorite tunes by any band.
