what an odd combination. I have no idea why orange sky was picked for the openers of this tour (although I love em.)
I'm ready for a night of angry, cheesy, swedish shred glory!

Never thought I'd use a line from a Pavement song as a punchline. Though the original was refering to Geddy's voice. |

Either way he still shreds. haha. I need to find out who's touring with him on bass (he's a bass nazi [yngwie] and that's why most bassists hate him. his shows area bout him him him, I wonder if his bassist has ever had a solo? hell no prob)

It's just a thing.
Much like yngwie.
That name still makes me picture a pregnant yak, though. |

How is Yngwie pronounced?
I've always thought Ying-wee....but that never felt right

He has anglified his name from Yngve Malmsten. The Y sound in Swedish does not exist in English. It is similar to the German Ü.
I heard Yngwie play once and it was insanely loud so do not forget earplugs.

This is more interesting than his music, that's for sure | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
