I was talking with my singer/rhythm guitarist over the weekend and it turns out that somewhere during the past few months, at 2 of our previous gigs (I'm guessing the ones at the Blender Theater and Irving Plaza which I mentioned
in this thread), we were being "scouted". Apparently we caught someone's attention because now one of our songs is going to be played on 101.9 RXP, a very well known rock station in New York. We're waiting to hear back from them about the exact day/time it will be on, but it's supposed to happen this week.
I'm beyond excited about it. It's a big station and exposure like this is golden. We've been working our butts off; recording a new CD, gigging at some really good and REALLY bad venues, and even traveling a bit to get our sound out there. It's just great to know that someone's actually taking notice. Whether or not anything will come of it is yet to be seen, but this is at least a step in the right direction.
