Ive never been happier with my setup than I am right now.

08 P into my board into my US SVT-CL/8x10

I love my tone and am gas free (save for a few pedals here and there).

Who else is content with what they have

Posting in this thread is the surest way to wind up with a nasty case of GAS. Sorry, that's just how it works

I am trying to be happy, but I never am. Always looking, always wanting, always trying. That's part of the fun. I wish I could get a good amp and bass and be happy. It's just not in my genes.

Shouldn't the thread title be "My SO is still tolerant of my gear."

I'm very satisfied with my current setup. I wouldn't say I'm really GAS'n for anything right now but I find myself looking all the time. Just a habit I guess.

It's an existential conundrum.

I am usually happy with my equipment, whether I know it or not.

I am as satisfied as I can be with my current setup. I really do like everything I have for the most part, but current finances dictate how much GAS I can have at the moment. I have very little GAS right now.

Dearmond starfire into an acoustic 370 with matching 301 cab

fuzz, chorus, wah, delay

some pedals not withstanding, I am very happy with my gear and the tone I can get out of it.

I've been happy with my gear for a while now (about 2 years). Except for last Sat when the preamp in my Trib L2500 kept crapping out during songs!

So I might succumb to GAS for another 5 string out of necessity, depending on what it's gonna take to get it fixed.

I'm on a self imposed equipment purchase moratorium right now. Six months I will buy nothing other than strings and batteries. It began on MLK jr day, and will end in July. I MUST pass on all crazy deals that come up. There is no option, there is no room for excuses or compromise. I don't care how many $350 MIA Fenders, or $500 Stingrays, or $200 Eden 4X10s get posted on craigslist (because they will come up). I WILL resist.

The gear I have is MORE than adequate for the venues and type of music I play. And the hassle of flipping equipment just aint worth it in this economy.

Gear: Hartke LH1000, 2-2x10 LDS cabs. 2002 MIA Precision.

I love my gear and I love the sound and feel of my bass. Still want a 5-er though.

I just have to beat this Multiple Myeloma crap.

I am much more satisfied with my gear now that I've taken a large cut in income. It sounds better than ever.
