im playing with a latin metal band tonight..

I play metal, so i have that down but what else can i expect as far as the latin/spanish style goes? so far its alot of acoustic guitar leading up to metal chorus' and im not quite sure how i fit into the quick arpeggios(sp) etc.

any advice?

yeah try listening to some latin music. Do you know what styles they use in their music? If not, a good place to start is boss nova and samba music, and then cuban music, which is considerably more complicated for bassists.

just want to say i got the gig. should be interesting since i mostly play metal and turns out the 3 or four songs on there web site are they only songs they have with any resembelance of metal in them haha
