| I'm thinking about writing a song for class

It's a neuroscience/neurology class, and it's an extra credit project. We've had a few examples of some songs and other art projects that previous students have made, and so far, aside from a little rap that looped a single beat sample for 3 minutes, there haven't been any completely original songs. Everything has had lyrics written to an existing tune, and I really want to do something different.
Last night, while studying for the exam I just finished taking, I decided that I would probably want to call the song "Contralateral Homonymous Hemianopia," because I think it could make for some very interesting melodies to accompany that ridiculously long visual deficit. Even more so if I also include contralateral homonymous hemianopia with macular sparing. (I would have included links for you guys, but Wikipedia has nothing on contralateral homonymous, only bitemporal. Google is also yielding some very long articles that don't really get straight to the point about CHH.)
What I guess I'm looking for from you guys is if you have any idea what kind of beat/rhythm/musical style would either make an interesting song.
Also, since I'm hoping to write an original piece, I'm most likely going to play this on guitar, and not bass, unless I get some recording/mixing software for my computer, which probably won't happen too soon since I'm moving in a week or so.

But that thought becomes but a whisper, as I bring my fingers to gently caress her neck. Her beautiful, slim neck.
Then, without saying a word, I ease my hands down the length of her body, and slowly remove her G string... |
