I'm without an amp for a week and...

... I was wondering if anyone knows if its ok to run my active bass through my soundcard without messing the card up (Audigy 2 ZS Platinum). Thanks a lot for any help.

I run mine through the line input on my computer.. You'll just wanted to open the "Volume Control" panel and make sure the volume is way down.. I have to keep it about 1/8th up so the active preamp doesnt make it clip

erm... Pardon me for my ignorance, but the "line input" you are talking about is the LineIn2/MicIn2? If yes, what jumper setting are you using in the front panel?
I want to to the same here (same situation!)

Line in.. Mic in is too hot of an input..

I have no clue what you mean by jumper setting.. Sorry..

the rear one then? Should get an jack adaptor?
well, in the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum front panel there is a jumper that set the line2/mic2 input to "dynamic mic" or to "condenser mic", and I thought there had something to do with that =)
