Incase Tour Bag

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey there. Just finally joined the site. I just acquired an Incase Tour Bag for my Carvin LB20 to replace the Guitar Research/Levy's bag I've used for years. The Incase is as nice as people say, but I'm having trouble getting used to it sitting so much higher over my head. First time out I kept banging the top in the NYC subway doorway.

So I'm curious what people are putting where in the bag. For portability for now, I took out the backpack and tightened the pocket thing down. The pocket near the headstock looked like a good place to put a pack of strings. The shallow pocket inside the large compartment was good for small things like tools, earplugs, bottle opener.... The main compartment I was able to fit my two cables, two Boss pedals, small connector cable, and more. That pocket is deceptively large.

I wish I could take off the waist strap, but I might end up using the single strap since I end up taking it off and putting it on fairly often, dealing with public transportation in NYC.

Thanks for any thoughts or tips on this thing.

-Ken
